User Operations Specialist:

At Asana, we're building a shared task list for teams in an effort to re-imagine the way people work together. Our customers have an integral voice in influencing the direction of our product. Because we value their input, we encourage a rich dialog with our customers through our support channels. We're looking for someone passionate about helping those customers get the most out of Asana.

The User Operations Specialist is a liason between the product team and our customers. You will become an Asana product expert, and a productivity maven, assisting with questions, bugs, and best practices about which our customers contact us. Armed with this information, you will help the product team stay informed about where Asana needs to expand or improve.

As we continually develop the product, adding new features and functionality, you will contribute written content to our help site to give customers resources they can access anytime. You'll also have the opportunity to enrich our User Operations tools as well as to collaborate in developing our strategies for the future.

Requirements:

  • Genuine passion for making happy customers
  • Natural troubleshooting skills and an inquisitive nature
  • Deep sense of empathy for technology users
  • Innately balance advocacy for the company and the user
  • Strong writing skills
  • Attentive to the details that make service exceptional

Desirable:

  • Skilled with online support tools, knowledge bases, wikis, etc.
  • Comfortable with markup, CSS, and one scripting or programming language
