Engineering Manager, Mobile

As an Engineering Manager in the Mobile Engineering Group, you’ll focus on developing the excellent engineering team around you. You are passionate about helping others contribute more and develop as software engineers as well as human beings. You enjoy the challenge of balancing speed of execution with quality while building a product that users love. And you should be as enthusiastic about recruiting and building a team as you are about the challenging technical problems that you and your team will solve.
This role is based in our Warsaw office with an office-centric hybrid schedule - in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
We offer a Contract of Employment (UoP) for our employees in Poland.
What you’ll achieve
- Build and grow a new mobile engineering team in our Warsaw office.
- Work closely with recruiting, our site lead, and other managers as we expand the team and grow the office: source & interview candidates, help strengthen our engineering talent brand in the region, and onboard new employees
- Coach Android, iOS, and API engineers in their technical and professional development, ensuring the team maintains a high velocity and technical quality bar
- Build, staff, and manage the execution of mobile product roadmaps in partnership with engineering leads and cross-functional partners across the organization.
- Collaborate with engineering leaders across the organization and be a key driver for our Warsaw office culture to help keep Asana's workplace balanced, performant, inclusive, transparent, and aligned with our values
About you
- 8+ years of experience working in the technology industry, with 3+ years experience managing a technical team.
- 4+ years hands-on experience building native Android or iOS applications, building backend APIs for mobile apps, or leading mobile engineering teams.
- Excellent communication skills and experience working cross-functionally with product managers and designers, as well as cross-timezone with other internal offices
- Focused on maximizing impact for yourself, your team, and Asana as a whole.
- Autonomous and comfortable with ambiguity; you enjoy figuring out what needs to be done—and then making it happen.

For this role, the estimated base salary range is between 32 229 - 43 646 PLN gross monthly on the contract of employment (UoP). The actual base salary will vary based on various factors and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base compensation range for this role may be modified.
Our total compensation consists of base salary and equity (RSUs).
